Rackal van Orshoven

Rakhal Van Orshoven is based in our Brussels Office, where he laeds our Private Equity practice for Benelux.

Rakhal was born and raised near Amsterdam iand studied Psychology in Groningen (Rijksuniversiteit Groningen) and Business Management in Brussels (Université Libre de Bruxelles, studies in French). After his studies, he started his career at van Lanschot Private Bank in Den Bosch. In 2000 he switched to KPMG. In 2005 Rakhal set up the Belgian entity of Ebbinge, dedicated to search and HR advisory for Privately Equity funds and the management teams of their portfolio companies. In the years after, Ebbinge has become a recognized leader in the niche of Private Equity related positions in Benelux. In more recent years, Rakhal worked on further international expansion of Ebbinge, setting up local structures in the French and German markets. Rakhal is a Partner and shareholder of Ebbinge International.

Dutch national, Rakhal is fluent in both English and French.
