Hunter Murray

Hunter Murray is a Partner and Co-Founder of our Washington corresponding office.

​For nearly two decades, Hunter has been known for his attention to detail and his tenacious ability to identify, court, and close high performing leaders across Technology and Business & Professional Services. Hunter’s genuine desire is to help clients understand the underlying business issues surrounding human capital. Every organization is a reflection of its leadership, so executive advisory and search must be approached and solved as significant business problems. His approach has consistently led to successful outcomes and has earned the trust and confidence of his clients. As a result of prioritizing relationships, 75% of his projects come from repeat clients who confide in him and trust his competitive intelligence and understanding of the marketplace. Hunter is passionate about the greater missions within the public sector, information technology and healthcare. He has assisted companies ranging from small, rapid-growth VC-backed businesses to large information technology, consulting firms & health organizations. He is also widely regarded as the leading executive search expert in federal healthcare and is highly sought by technology and services organizations seeking to advance in the healthcare industry.

Prior to establishing the Washington office, Hunter started the public sector search practice for an executive search boutique. Hunter also co-founded a West Coast venture-capital funded executive search firm focused on building senior leadership teams for technology companies and professional services firms. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the nationally ranked logistics program at the University of Tennessee and is a member of AFCEA, HIMSS and PSC.
