Jean Guilbault

Jean Guilbault is based in our Montreal Office, where he laeds our Defense & Aerospace practice for Canada.

Jean started in Executive Search in 2004 with Korn Ferry International, as Senior Client Partner & Managing Director for the Montreal office, before founding GXB Leadership in 2009, an executive search firm which became a dominant player in it's market.

Before that, Jean began his career in HR, acquiring considerable experience across a broad spectrum of operational and functional areas. After working for nearly 15 years in HR, he was made President of Ferranti-Packard, a division of Rolls-Royce. He subsequently took the presidency of aerospace and energy company Rolls-Royce Canada. From 2001 to 2004, Mr. Guilbault served as President, Landing Gear and Aerostructure, Héroux-Devtek.

After completing a bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations from Laval University in Quebec, he regularly took part in training programs and lectures on subjects such as change management, continuous improvement, globalization, corporate governance, and talent management. He is regularly invited as a lecturer at Montreal & McGill University and the School of Board of Directors teaching  strategic management and Governance. Apart from being actively involved as a board member for public and private corporations, and for non-profit organizations, Jean also served on the Board of division of Rolls-Royce.
