“Select 6.50”: Pornichet – Les Sables – Groix – Pornichet (4 days & 300 nautical Miles).
Jean and his boat just completed the first race of the season in less than 4 days. No significant damage was to deplore and after having recovered some sleep, Jean is back in good shape. For his first race Jean fulfilled his objectives: finish the race and get closer and closer to having a foul proof boat by testing it in rough conditions.
“I could never have imagined how hard and demanding it is in every aspect. Your brain and all the muscles in your body have to work full time during 4 days and nights – even staying alert while you sleep for a few minutes at a time. After a few tweaks, the boat is now ready for longer races. Paradoxically, he is more ready than I am! The amount of mental and technical progress I have to make is tremendous. I am really much looking forward to the next races in order to test myself and push the boat closer to the limit.”
